COURSE OVERVIEW
Throughout this powerful, practical, hands-on WPIE certification program, Deborah Kesten will guide you through her scientifically sound Foundations of Whole Person Integrative Eating (WPIE) Certification Course. The course provides the knowledge, skills, strategies, and “in action” techniques for health professionals to guide clients, patients, and coachees to make the sustainable behavior changes needed to overcome overeating, overweight, and obesity.
During each of the 20 step-by-step modules in the WPIE certification course, participants are trained to administer the “What’s Your Overeating Style? Self-Assessment” tool; and they are given step-by-step skills about what (food choices) and how (eating behaviors) to eat so that overeating lessens, and weight loss becomes a natural “side effect” of the WPIE dietary lifestyle. The WPIE Certification Course also provides practical WPIE coaching skills to use with clients, patients, and coachees.

Special Features include charts and posters, the automated assessment quiz, and audio of The WPIE Guided Meal Meditation, while materials in Phases I-V include lots of practical, easy-to-understand didactic information, and experiential exercises about each “ingredient” of Whole Person Integrative Eating.

Automated assessment tool. The 76-item “What’s Your Overeating Style? Self-Assessment Quiz” reveals a person’s overeating styles, root causes of overeating, trouble spots, and strengths. It enables participants in the WPIE program to revisit their food choices and eating behaviors with the goal of replacing the overeating styles with the elements of the Whole Person Integrative Eating dietary lifestyle.
